Cyber Surf-Design week
Created by a team. I was responsible for the level design of the game.
This game consists of three parts in total, the first part is instructional, allowing players to understand the operation and game mechanics. The second part is for players to become proficient in using the gameplay, and the third part is for players to play freely using the game mechanics.
The challenge I was having was how to get the players to understand the gameplay while giving them some difficult challenges. Also, my classmates and I were in different countries and we had to deal with the time difference.
WASD - Move
Space - Jump
Shift - Run
Hologun
Left Click - Shoot teleportation orb
Hold Left Click = Shot orb farther
Right Click - Launch yourself in the opposite direction (must be in the air)
Hold Right Click = Increase strength of push
R - Reload Hologun
E - Interact with NPCs
